ABOUT US
We are a small family business in the heart of The Guild Wiltshire (formerly Wilton Shopping Village), where we established ourselves in March 2018 as an Artisan food and Gift shop. Our team consists of my dad (Andrew) and myself (Wendy) with help from my sister (Helen), our dear friend (Karen) as well as my mum (Gill) and their beloved dog and star of the show Ernie (mini black schnauzer).
We have a love of good quality, British-produced food and a passion for crafting.

We work with companies such as Hawkshead Relish, Dorset Spice Shed, The Cold Pressed Oil Company, Wilton Wholefoods, The Garlic Farm to name a few. We have a great working relationship with our small suppliers – we have worked with Hawkshead Relish for over 4 years and they have become really good friends.
HISTORY

Our little shop derived out of diversity. In 2016 my husband and I set up The Courtyard Cafe near where we live with the hope of investing into a future family business but, unfortunately, it didn’t come to fruition. My dad was also being pushed out of his career so we decided to started doing fairs and events together under the moniker 'The Courtyard Marketplace On Tour'.

We were offered a unit in Wilton Shopping Village, when we attended their Christmas Market and we haven’t looked back.

We were having trouble with finding interesting ‘local’ suppliers so we looked at ‘great British food’ instead, which is how we found the Hawkshead Relish Company. My dad hit it off with them straight away and they have always been supportive.
In early 2019 my mum was diagnosed with early onset Dementia. The shop has never been so important in providing support and company over this last year.
Lockdown started and we missed our shop and our wonderful loyal customers however, we managed to stay in touch with most of our regulars and offered support where we could.

We our so thankful our little shop survived Lockdown and we are now back open. We have even moved into larger premises in The Guild Wiltshire and have become an integral part of the centre. Check out the video above to see how we've grown!

Meet the Team
Andrew (Owner), is responsible for finding and tasting our artisan food range. He deals with our Facebook page and Twitter. He also created and designed our first website. He loves to take photos of landscapes and wildlife which you can find for sale in our shop and will be available through our online website.

Wendy (Owner), makes handmade gifts using Macrame, Metal Stamping, Vinyl Printing, sewing, Jewellery, Framed Art, Original paintings & lampshades.
​
Helen (heleshandmade) creates beautiful hand-cut cards available to buy in-store and also through our website.
​
Karen (Nichols Naturals) provides felting supplies. You can also buy her own felted creations. Currently Karen is working on her Resin craft producing unique bangles, necklaces, bookmarks & coasters. Karen also knits and crochets.
